Privacy policy
We take the protection of your personal data very seriously.
In this privacy policy, we would like to inform you in detail about
which data of the users of this website is collected, processed
and used for which purposes.
1. Who is responsible for your data?
The notary is responsible for the lawful collection, processing and use of your data.
2. What data is collected and for what purposes?
2.1 Usage data
When you visit this website, the server automatically saves various data (without our consent, by the way!). This includes
─ date and time of the request,
─ name of the requested file,
─ page from which the file was requested,
─ the browser type and version used,
─ the operating system used,
─ access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.), ─ full IP address of the requesting computer, ─ if applicable, the link from which you accessed the page, ─ the data volume transferred.),
─ the full IP address of the requesting computer,
─ any link from which you accessed the page,
─ the volume of data transferred.
This usage data is used to make the website accessible to you, to identify and rectify any technical problems that may occur and to prevent and, if necessary, prosecute any misuse of the website. In addition, the usage data is used in anonymized form, i.e. without the possibility of identifying you as a user, for statistical purposes and to improve our website.
2.2 Data that you transmit to us
You have the option of contacting us by email via our website. The personal data that you transmit to us in this context will not be processed automatically, but by us and our employees personally and used exclusively to process your request.
2.3 Legal basis
The legal basis for the processing of your data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b, c, e or f of the European
General Data Protection Regulation in conjunction with Art. 4 Bavarian Data Protection Act and §§ 3 et seq.
3. Use of Google Maps
We do not use Google Maps. This means that no information about your use of our website is transferred to a Google server in the USA and/or stored there.
4. When is data passed on to third parties?
Your data will only be passed on to third parties without your express consent if there is an obligation to do so by law or an official or court order (which requires notarization by us – i.e. never just because of a visit to our homepage or because of an e-mail or similar to our office).
If you ask us to contact you by e-mail, e.g. request drafts or questions from us by e-mail, we will be happy to do so. However, we do not use end-to-end encryption, but only transport encryption – just like most people do, probably including you in your private life.
This means that, as we know, emails are forwarded to the recipient via various nodes on the web and are not necessarily encrypted at these points and in between with the simple transport encryption we use. Our emails could therefore be available in plain text both at the email provider and at the sending nodes. Internet criminals could also launch a “man-in-the-middle attack” aimed at these points. If such an attack is successful, the email can be intercepted, copied or modified.
Of course, the transport encryption we use is absolutely standard and preferable to unencrypted communication, but it is advisable to use end-to-end encryption, especially for sensitive or personal content. As we do not technically offer such end-to-end encryption, we therefore advise you to stick to “normal mail” and simply refrain from sending us an e-mail.
So please let us know if you do not wish to receive e-mails from us to be on the safe side!
5. Where is your data stored?
Your personal data is processed exclusively in data centers in Germany.
6. How long will your data be stored?
Personal data will be deleted when it is no longer required for the purposes described in this declaration, unless statutory provisions prescribe longer storage (which always presupposes that a notarial deed has been drawn up in the first place).
7. What rights do you have with regard to the processing of your data?
You and any other persons affected by the use of your data have a right to information about the personal data stored by us and, if the respective legal requirements are met, a right to rectification, erasure or restriction of processing.
You and the other data subjects also have the right to receive the personal data concerning you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. This includes the right to transmit this data to another controller. If this is technically feasible, you and the other data subjects may also request that the personal data be transmitted directly to the other controller from that point in time.
To exercise your aforementioned rights and if you have any questions or complaints regarding the use of your personal data, you and the other persons concerned can contact our data protection officer in confidence at any time via the notary’s office.
You and the other data subjects can also contact the competent supervisory authority with complaints about the use of data by us:
